This park offered an opportunity for people with limited living space to interact and exchange ideas in times without modern means of communication like cell phones. On the one hand, it was a meeting point where adolescents got together with their mopeds, on the other hand it was also popular with families. A playground offered a welcome change for the children. In addition, it became a custom to spend some time there before or after running errands. When the children became hungry, the mothers were always ready to provide them with snacks.
